About
I (name audio) currently hold the position of Visiting Professor of Chinese and Humanities at Reed College. I have cultivated my teaching career with enriching experiences at esteemed institutions, including Lafayette College (as a Fulbright fellow), the University of Colorado Boulder, and the University of Arizona. I earned my M.A. degree in Chinese Language and Civilization from the University of Colorado Boulder, along with certificates in College Teaching and Language Teaching with Technology. Additionally, I completed my Ph.D. in East Asian Studies at the University of Arizona.
As a scholar in Chinese studies, my primary research interests encompass Chinese religious literature and its intersections with various socio-cultural domains. I delve into these intersections from diverse perspectives, including historiography, gender and sexuality, vernacular texts, ritual practices, and print culture. With extensive experience in teaching the Chinese language, I am also enthusiastic about utilizing technology to enhance Chinese language and culture courses. |
